Practical Marketing Operations for Measurable Growth

Marketing teams do not need more activity for activity’s sake. They need strategies, processes, platforms, and measurement working efficiently together.

Janet Ballonoff brings a practical, hands-on perspective to strategic marketing operations, marketing automation, lifecycle programs, sales handoffs, attribution, and revenue visibility conversations.

Her presentations enable B2B marketers to understand where execution breaks down, why technology alone does not solve the problem, and what teams can do to create more connected and measurable marketing.

Suggested Speaking Topics

How to Build, Track, and Prove What Actually Drives Pipeline

Marketing teams are under growing pressure to demonstrate business impact. Unfortunately, campaign activity does not automatically translate into revenue visibility.

This session explores how campaign structure, marketing automation, CRM processes, sales handoffs, attribution, and reporting must connect before marketing can reliably show its contribution.

Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of what strategies, processes, platforms, and measurement need to be in place to connect marketing activity to pipeline and revenue.

When Marketing Strategy Breaks Down in Execution

A strong strategy can still fail when ownership is unclear, workflows are disconnected, customer signals are missed, and/or reporting does not reflect what is happening across the revenue lifecycle.

This session reveals how strategic marketing operations connect plans with the processes, systems, handoffs, and measurement required to carry them to fruition.

Attendees will learn how to recognize common execution gaps and determine where stronger operational infrastructure can make the greatest difference.

The Customer Journey Gaps Hiding Inside Your Automation

An email can be delivered and a workflow can run exactly as designed without helping a prospect or customer move forward.

This session examines how timing, customer signals, ownership, exit rules, and recovery paths affect lifecycle performance. It guides marketing teams through evaluating automation based on customer progress rather than completed communications alone.

Attendees will leave with a practical framework for identifying and improving gaps within nurture, onboarding, and lifecycle programs.
